Service Heat Treating, Inc. operates out of a 42,500 square foot facility, fully equipped with the latest and best equipment to handle most specialized metallurgical needs. Our current operating inventory includes:
- 36x72x36 integral quench batch furnaces with matching washers, tempering furnaces and charge cars
- 24x35x24 integral quench batch furnaces with matching washers, tempering furnaces, black oil quench and charge carts
- 30x48x30 vacuum nitrocarburizing furnace with black oil quench
- 36x48x36 vacuum furnaces with 15 bar quenching and carburizing capabilities
- 48” tableblast
- 6 cubic foot tumbleblast
- Straightening capabilities up to 72” and 75 tons
- Inspection and testing laboratory equipment consisting of Brinell testers, Rockwell standard and superficial hardness, microhardness testing equipment, metallograph with digital camera and mounting equipment capable of processing 200 microspecimens per day
